About the College: Theivanai Ammal College for Women (Autonomous), established in 1989 in Villupuram, is a renowned institution committed to empowering women through quality education. Founded by Thiru E. Swamikkannu, with Shri S. Senthilkumar playing a key role in its administration, the college has steadily grown under dynamic leadership, aiming to equip women students to face the challenges of the education sector both regionally and globally. Affiliated with Annamalai University, the college offers a range of programs, including 17 undergraduate, 9 postgraduate, and 8 Ph.D. courses across fields like arts, science, management, and computer science. The college's achievements are notable, having earned recognition from the UGC with sections 2(f) and 12(B) status, alongside autonomous status granted in 2009 and extended in 2015 and 2021. It boasts a distinguished NAAC accreditation with an ‘A+’ grade and a CGPA of 3.29 in its fourth cycle (2025). The institution has also been honored with the ARIIA 2024Band Performer Award and 3 stars from IIC. The college has made a significant mark in its 37 years of service
The one-day seminar on Intellectual Property Rights, Innovation, and Patents 2026, organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Theivanai Ammal College for Women, Villupuram, aims to raise awareness and foster innovative culture in Research areas. The seminar will focus on the importance of intellectual property in driving technological advancements and economic growth. It will offer insights into patents, copyrights, and other IPRs, providing academicians and researchers with the knowledge to protect their creations and contribute to groundbreaking innovations. The event will also cover national and international patent filing procedures and recent trends in intellectual property.

PUBLICATION OF PAPERS:
- Papers are invited on the theme and subthemes of the conference.
- A soft copy of the full-length paper with the abstract (not exceeding 5000 words or 12 pages) should be submitted (Specification: A4 size, MS Word, Times New Roman font with heading in font size 14 and the remaining text of size 12 with spacing 1.5 as a single file).
- The paper should include the title, author’s name, institutional address, corresponding author mail id and mobile number.
- The paper should be based on an original research work that has not been published. The full-length paper should be submitted on or before 08.01.2026
- The papers submitted to seminar would be peer-reviewed and published in Scopus Indexed/web of science depending on the norms of the Journal with an applicable publication fee.
- The seminar registration fee is exclusive of publication charges.
